Having spent much of his life in the fast-paced city of New York, Steven eventually sought a change of scenery and moved to Quincy, Illinois in search of new experiences and a quieter, more relaxed way of living. When he’s not working, Steven loves discovering new restaurants, binge-watching his favorite TV shows, and staying updated on current events. He’s passionate about making the most of life—whether through traveling or taking scenic drives in his car. One of those drives led him to Columbia, Missouri, where he met Jenny. From their very first date, he knew she was the one.
The Bride
Jenny
Born in Ecuador, Jenny grew up in a small, close-knit family, leading a calm and contented life. After earning her engineering degree, she set out to explore the world while continuing her education. One of her journeys brought her to the U.S., where she chose Columbia, Missouri—a charming college town in the Midwest—for her doctoral studies. During the height of the pandemic, seeking a way to escape the chaos around her and find balance outside of campus life, Jenny met Steven. In him, she found a sense of home away from home, and despite the 112 miles (180 km) between them, they’ve been inseparable ever since their first date.
